Artemis II
Artemis II
We are going back to the moon!
By “we” I mean three Americans and one Canadian.
You know what? I’ll take it.
With everything else happening in the world right now; genocides, fascism rising, and a war in Persia that some people say could already be the beggining stages of a World War, launching a crewed mission to the moon feels sadly like a page 5 kind of news story.
It is a shame really. I feel that this is the kind of shit humanity should be focused on.
My speedmaster unfortunately needs to be taken to the garage (its pusher fell off) and I was not wearing it to celebrate the launch. Maybe I do so for the Artemis III, which is scheduled for next year.
In completely other news, today I am going to a dinner with my former team.
It’s simultaneously nice and sad. Seeing people move on with their work lives when mine got thoroughly nuked.
How does one work for NASA , I wonder.
